Chestnut Retreat Center (a d.b.a of Golden Generation Worship and Retreat Center), a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization, was founded by Turkish American Muslims living in the area. Chestnut Retreat Center was founded by the individuals who are inspired by the ideals and principles of the Hizmet Movement.
2WHERE IS CHESTNUT RETREAT CENTER LOCATED?
The Chestnut Retreat Center is located at 7554 Mt. Eaton Rd, Saylorsburg, PA on beautiful landscape of an approximately 26 acres in Eastern Pennsylvania. Our retreat facility consists of eight worship/meditation buildings, a sermon house and a masjid.
3WHAT DOES CHESTNUT RETREAT CENTER DO?
Chestnut Retreat Center organizes programs for both Muslims and non-Muslims, which have included some of the following over the years:
•Offering a space for spiritual development, education, reading, meditation, and prayer.
•Providing community services.
•Helping the needy in collaboration with local aid agencies.
•Organizing dialogue events where people of different faiths, cultures and backgrounds can interact with each other.
